Small Town to Big City
CeCe spent the first 17 years of her life in the small town of Sturbridge, Massachusetts until she moved to New York City to study musical theatre at Marymount Manhattan College. Toward the final half of her education there, she realized how much she enjoyed writing her own music and singing in front of a live audience, so she became determined to do so. Just before the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders were set in March of 2020, almost a year after graduating from college, she released her very first single, "Ain't So Perfect," which was based on the relationships and heartbreaks she had endured since moving to New York. Written in 2018, it was only tweaked along the way to reach what it is now. CeCe strives to continue writing and releasing catchy, uplifting, and honest bops, as well as thoughtful, relatable, and truthful ballads throughout her career. Her first EP is now available everywhere!
